Some winter hiking / snowshoeing photos on the new Eagle View trail

Here are a few photos I took today while Heather and I were hiking on our new Eagle View trail which runs along the – you guessed it – the Eagle River. While hiking along we actually saw a huge Golden Eagle cruising down the river but by the time I got the camera out it was too late – seriously. You can see in one of the photos that we have to cross Camp Creek on a “snow bridge”. That bridge is still a little iffy but if we break through, the water is really not very deep, but it is cooooold!

Interesting snow feature
